New Features in updated version of eRail.in

www.erail.in is updated with new version. Now it becomes more users friendly. Default color has been changed to vista Blue which gives a good look. Home page link has been created. Keyboard function for all station search list. Now you can choose the station name from keyboard up & down buttons. From now on user can see the trains which pass through the station but does not have halt in the search query, so that user can choose nearby station if he wish to travel by that particular train. Passenger trains have been added with express trains. Now user can see all the trains between a given routes in a single list. Arrival and departure has been added for all stations. Now you can click on AD next to route drop menu box to get the particular station all trains arrival and departure, you have chosen in drop menu box. For the route which do not have any trains you will get a message and link where you can send the mail and get the short route or link station detail from the page itself. Tips have been given for all the headers. Take your mouse cursor on any header or word to get the detail. Sorting highlights has given for all the headers in the train list. Default sorting is train Number now. Separate link has been given for the summer special trains in home page. Yatra package for Rameshwaram has been launched. All the important links has been given in the home page. Separate color has been given to Rajdhani, Shatabadi , Garibrath, Superfast ,Mail &express Trains and passenger trains in train name list. Any query, error report or feedback can be send from home page itself. Route link has been created below the train list so that users can copy this link and send to anyone.

Western Railway will operate following additional summer holiday specials to various destinations to clear the extra summer rush.

Weekly Bhuj-Rajkot Holiday Specials

Train No.0961 Rajkot-Bhuj Weekly Special will leave Rajkot at 00.15 hrs every Wednesday and reach Bhuj at 06.25 hrs from 22nd April 2009 to13thMay2009.Similarly, in return direction, Train No.0962 Bhuj-Rajkot Weekly Special will depart from Bhuj at 16.50 hrs on every Tuesday and arrive Rajkot at 23.00 hrs from 21st April 2009 to 12th May 2009. This train will have AC II tier,AC III tier, Sleeper Class and General II class .The train will have stoppages at Wankaner City, Morbi, Maliya Miyana, Samakhiali, Bhachau, Gandhidham, Adipur and Anjar stations in both directions. Booking opens from 20th April 2009.

Daily Mhow-Ratlam Holiday Special

Train No. 0969 Daily Special will leave Ratlam at 13.30 hrs to reach Mhow at 18.30 hrs from 15th April, 2009 to 15th May, 2009.Similarly, in return direction, Train No. 0970 will leave Mhow at 08.00 hrs and arrive Ratlam at 13.00 hrs from 15th April, 2009 to 15th May, 2009. The train will comprise of Sleeper Class and General II class. The train enroute will stop at Nauganwan, Runija, Barnagar, Gautampura, Fatehabad, Chandrawati Ganj, Ajnod, Palia, Laxmibai Nagar, Indore, Lokmanyanagar, Rajendranagar, Rau, Haranyakheri stations in both directions. Daily Vadodara –Ujjain Holiday Special

Train No.2927A Daily Special will leave Vadodara at 06.35 hrs, and reach Ujjain at 12.30 hrs from 20th April to 19th May 2009 .Similarly, in return direction, Train No.2928A Special will depart from Ujjain at 15.10 hrs and reach Vadodara at 22.05 hrs from 20th April to 19th May 2009 .This train will have I AC, AC II tier, AC III tier, Sleeper Class and General II class. Train No.0967 Special will leave Rajkot at 22.20 hrs to reach Veraval at 02.05 hrs the next day from 15th April to 15th May 2009.Similarly, Train No. 0968 Special will depart from Veraval at 02.30 hrs to arrive Rajkot at 06.10 hrs from 16th April to 16th May, 2009. In order to clear extra rush of passengers during summer rush, Railways will run 0901A/0902A Rajdhani type Holiday Special Weekly & 0903A/0904A Super Fast Rajdhani type Tri-Weekly Super Fast Special trains between Mumbai Central & Hazrat Nizamuddin as per the programme:-
The 0901A Mumbai Central-Hazrat Nizamuddin Rajdhani type Holiday Special Weekly train will depart from Mumbai Central on every Sunday from 19.04.09 upto 28.06.09(in all 11trips) at 5.05 p.m. to arrive at Hazrat Nizamuddin at 09.50 a.m. the next day (Monday). In the return direction the 0902A Hazrat Nizamuddin- Mumbai Central Weekly special train will depart from Hazrat Nizamuddin on every Monday from 20.04.2009 upto 29.6.09(11 trips) at 3.50 p.m. to arrive at Mumbai Central at 11.25 a.m. the next day. Consisting of First A.C., A.C. Two Tier, AC 3 Tier & luggage van coaches LHB rake, the 0901A/0902A Mumbai Central- Hazrat Nizamuddin Weekly special train will stop at Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, and Kota stations enroute in both the directions.

The 0903A Mumbai Central-Hazrat Nizamuddin Super Fast Rajdhani type Tri-Weekly train will depart from Mumbai Central on every Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday with immediate effect upto 27.06.09(in all 31trips) at 11.15 p.m. to arrive at Hazrat Nizamuddin at 6.15 p.m. the next day. In the return direction the 0904A Hazrat Nizamuddin- Mumbai Central Super Fast Tri-Weekly special train will depart from Hazrat Nizamuddin on every Monday, Thursday & Saturday from 18.04.2009 upto 29.6.09(31 trips) at 11.00 a.m. to arrive at Mumbai Central at 05.15 a.m. the next day.

Consisting of First A.C., A.C. Two Tier, AC 3 Tier and luggage vans coaches LHB rake, the 0901A/0902A Mumbai Central- Hazrat Nizamuddin Tri-Weekly special train will stop at Borivali, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam and Kota stations enroute in both the directions.

0416A DELHI SARAI ROHILLA-PATNA SPECIAL TRAIN ON 17.04.09

In order to clear extra rush of rail passengers Northern Railway will run a Special train no. 0416A from Delhi Sarai Rohilla to Patna Jn. one side only on 17.04.09 as per the following schedule.

The 0416A Delhi Sarai-Rohilla- Patna reserved Special will depart from Delhi Sarai Rohilla on 17.04.09 at 1.00 p.m.(noon) to reach Patna at 7.30 a.m the next day. Consisting of Three AC 3 tier, Nine second class sleeper, Four general second class besides two luggage vans, the 0416A Special train will stop at Delhi Jn., Delhi Sahadra, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Kanpur, Allahabad, Mughal Sarai, Buxar, Ara and Danapur stations enroute.
